Considered Matter

Alice Cunningham, Ann Goddard, Aaron Head and Rosie Leventon

14th June - 26th July 08

Considered Matter showcases the work of four artists, at different stages of their careers, whose practice is concerned with raising awareness of the enormous global issue of climate change.

International artist Leventon, recent graduate Cunningham and commissioned artist Goddard will bring the climate change debate to life through their engaging works.

Artist in Residence

Aaron Head will be looking at how globalisation is reducing cultural differences and exploring the changing nature of local communities, in particular food production and land use.  Head will be posing questions about the absurd and unsustainable contradictions in the way Britain manages its resources and the distinct local effect and huge gloabl implications.

Aaron will be in the gallery on the following days:

Friday 20 June

Saturday 21 June

Thursday 26 June

Friday 27 June

Saturday 28 June

Wednesday 2 July

Wednesday 9 July

For individuals or groups of less than 10 there is no need to book, just turn up.  If you are planning on bringing a group of 10 or more we would appreciate a call in advance.  Please contact Rebecca on 01282 421986.
