Talking Shop Bacup
Following the success of the rural project in Rossendale, the local authority commissioned a project in Bacup town centre. Artists Anita Burrows and Lucy Bergman met with shopkeepers across the town centre and Market. Working with a core of 8 shopkeepers a film was produced representing the stories, characters and current issues affecting them.

The project also produced a unique limited edition shopping bag promoting the shopping areas. The film was screened in a market stall to customers and the shopkeepers, where local shoppers could also pick up their free bag.
