Weavers' Triangle

The Weavers’ Triangle is a name given to the area of old weaving sheds, mills and other historic buildings which sits either side of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. For many years, this area was the bustling heart of Burnley’s textile industry and the cotton weaving capital of the world. The impressive industrial landscape of the Victorian era that remains is one of the finest examples in the country and is now at the centre of redevelopment plans, led by the regeneration of the Sandygate Square site.
