Project Manager for Pendle Radicals – Application Deadline 28 August
Join the Radicals! We are seeking a versatile and experienced Project Manager to coordinate this unique and exciting art and heritage project. This is a freelance/part time post with a salary of £28k f/t equivalent.
MPA is Lancashire’s arts and heritage charity, based in Pennine Lancashire and developing unique and distinctive creative projects around the North West and the Pennine area.
Pendle Radicals is a four year exploration of our area’s long history of nonconformists, independent thinkers, social reformers and change-makers. We are celebrating this enduring radical streak through this brilliant project, investigating a growing cast list of historic and contemporary characters, organising talks, visits and learning opportunities, supporting a team of volunteer researchers and commissioning original creative work of all kinds.
Pendle Radicals is a part of the Pendle Hill Landscape Partnership, made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. This major strategic programme includes over a dozen projects and a broad range of partner organisations. Over four years to 2022, PHLP is celebrating our iconic Pennine landmark through a wide ranging programme that takes in conservation, environmental improvements, engagement, education and cultural heritage.
This is a flexible post, ranging from one to three days day per week subject to future funding. Because of this we offer it as a freelance contract, and we will be looking for somebody already based within comfortable drive time.
We look forward to hearing from you.
