Bowland Revealed
From intriguing LANDMARKS and edible masterpieces to engaging exhibitions and “have a go” workshops, the Forest of Bowland enjoyed a packed line-up of exciting arts opportunities.
This inspiring programme of contemporary art set within Bowland’s breathtaking landscape, was designed to mark the Golden Anniversary of the designation of the Forest of Bowland as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and to showcase talented artists from Bowland and beyond.
MPA were delighted to play our part in helping to create some of these wonderful opportunities and experiences through the LANDMARKS and Bowland Explorers projects.
Bowland Revealed was a partnership project between Lancashire County Council Arts Development, the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and Ribble Valley Borough Council and ran from August 2014 until April 2016.
